Brian Bastick is from the beautiful village of Emo, near Portlaoise.  Brian has been recording the world around him through the medium of photography for over twenty years. 

Brian studied Fine Art/Sculpture in Galway I.T. and went on to study Computer Animation and Model Making in the prestigious Ballyfermot School of Animation.   Throughout his studies the medium of photography was always at the forefront of his creative process.

Brian is never seen without his camera, he has travelled extensively in the quest for that ‘next picture’.  He is just back from his second trip to the Arctic, building on an ongoing project based on the Aurora Borealis.

Brian has a permanent exhibition on display in the Gatehouse in Emo village.  He has exhibited his work from Oslo to Venice and most recently had a collection of his pictures feature in an Animal Exhibition in the Lourve in Paris, one of his pictures from this exhibition was featured in the book "THE EXPOSURE AWARD". Brian is also a member of the ''Blue Print'' artist group, and has been exhibiting with them for over 15years.

His corporate clients include Skoda Ireland, FBD Hotel Group, Permanent TSB, ICBE, Irish Life, Astellas Pharmaceuticals.
